Do I need a boater’s license?

Nope! Guests are not required to have a boater’s license to operate the boat, but they must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license. Prior to your reservation, you will receive thorough hands-on instruction from our staff on how to safely operate the boat and navigate San Diego Bay. If you would prefer a captain, you can bring your own or message us for a list of preferred captains.

Which boat is right for our group?

If you’re looking to cruise around at high speeds with several friends try out the speed boat. If you are looking for a more casual and relaxing time on the water with a large group, check out the pontoon. For a thrilling time on the water then definitely go with the jet skis!

Do you provide captains?

Yes, you can select a captain from our u0022preferred captain’s listu0022 at an additional cost. Or you can bring your own captain . Please send us a message in advance of your reservation and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

What are the rental rates?

Rental rates vary by day and number of hours booked. Select your desired watercraft and date to see the prices.

How many passengers can we bring?

The pontoon and speed boat are rated for a total of 10 passengers (including the captain). However, the pontoon can more comfortably hold 10 passengers than the speed boat so we recommend up to 10 passengers on the pontoon and up to 8 passengers on the speed boat. The jet skis can hold up 1-2 passengers.

Can we beach, dock, or anchor the boat?

Beaching, docking, and anchoring the boat is prohibited unless a guest selects a captain from our preferred captain’s list. Please contact us in advance to help arrange a captain.

Are watersports like tubing or wake boarding allowed?

Watersports such as tubing and wake boarding are prohibited per our insurance.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance of reservation for jet skis and 72 hours in advance of reservation for boats to receive a full refund.

What are the rental rules?

When you make your reservation you will be provided a waiver that contains all the rules and regulations specific to your time on San Diego Bay.

Do you need a driver’s license to drive a boat in San Diego?

Yes! We require all boat drivers to be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license (foreign or domestic is accepted).
